True Sport supports local sporting clubs and associations to use eight values to share the benefits of sport and recreation to their whole community.
As part of the True Sport initiative, we were required to create a library of imagery that showcased each of the eight values.
We love to go where the action is. This shoot involved scouting and choosing multiple locations to ensure we had a variety of looks across the image library.
The focus of this shoot was all about values. It was important at all stages to keep front of mind the question “what value is this image communicating”.
The shoot was all about finding a strong image idea that aligned with a value, then working with our wonderful talent to let that value play out authentically.
True Sport have a beautiful library of bright, Perth feeling imagery to work with. As you can see down in the In Use section of this page, the imagery supports the values perfectly which results in a strong communication piece.
``We engaged Photography Project to help us capture the values and essence of sport and recreation in Western Australia – fun, friendship, giving back, playing fair, being healthy and including everyone. Not an easy task to complete!
But Matt and Henry did it. Their enthusiasm and skills are evident in the resulting images that we received which display all of the aforementioned values and more. These images will form the backbone of our department’s advocacy documents and website and we love the fact that they are instantly recognisable as West Australian locations and people.
Thank you so much to Matt, Henry and Shelly for their fantastic work – it far exceeded our expectations.``
