01 Sep Fashion photography for motorcycle clothing brand
We’ve just wrapped up a fashion photography project for a client launching a brand of Kevlar lined clothing for motorcycle riders.
We loved this project and are super happy with the images!
There were two objectives for the project:
Objective 1. Product images
Capture 5 photos of each garment to show various angles and details. These photos are to be used for e-commerce websites so it’s important that potential customers can see the quality, design and features of each item.
Objective 2. Lifestyle images
Capture a collection of lifestyle photos on location, including a motorcycle for context. These photos are to be used for print & online advertising, product packaging and signage at trade shows. It was important to keep in mind when planning and taking the photos that the clothing was the hero, not the motorbike.
Preparation is key
There were quite a few moving parts to co-ordinate this project – 2 models, hair & makeup, styling, studio shoot and location shoot with motorbike. Some solid pre-production and planning was essential to ensure the photoshoots ran smoothly and we completed the brief successfully.
As busy as we all were to complete the shot list and nail the brief, it was a ton of fun!
Huge thanks to the team…
Korum & Kasha our awesome models, Duvah & Chloe from Onyx Hair Crew who ensured our models looked fantastic all day and Janelle from our team who knew just how to pose and style our models to get the shots. And of course our clients for choosing us to photograph their clothing range!
If you would like strong marketing images of your clothing brand, we would love to hear from you.
